WISH LIST

In my earlier post I did mention something about a wish list. I did not explain much then because I wanted it to be a post on its own… so here it comes.

I’ll be 30 this year. I look at 30 as a total new chapter in life and looking back of my 29 years I realized I have so many things that I’ve missed out on. The biggest reason of me missing out the fun stuff is partly of my background (family values and religion) and partly myself (very naughty young time so parents never trust!) (he he), but I’m glad I came out alright.

So now that I’m alright, I’ve lined up some things that I should do by the time I hit 30! Among the things lined up are:

1) travel on my own
2) attend a live concert
3) pick up piano lessons
4) get a permanent boyfriend
5) experience clubbing environment
6) to be excellent in office environment
7) to be closer to God
8) to change some of my traits to be less annoying

Out of that wish list I’ve successfully completed No. 1 only. No.3 is partly on its way I’ll say because I’m playing for church and my choir mistress has been of great help. No.6, 7 and 8 also on its way but how far will it go to becoming 100% is very tentative at this point of time. Anyways … I just have to hope for the best and if not just snowball the pending ones to next year’s New Year’s WISH LIST.

Cheers…

Incident in my Housing Area

Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) should not be an alien name to you. OSHA creates standards for health and safety in the workplace. It also investigates businesses to enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, and companies can face fines for non-compliance. OSHA sets safety regulations for equipment, protective clothing and safety gear. It also provides heath standards for workers who handle chemicals, asbestos, blood and other potentially dangerous substances. Now this is for an office environment.

I’m sure at home you all do practice safety practices such as to switch off the electrical appliances after using them or even mopping the house at least two days once to avoid the dust. But of course the domestic cleanliness is not recognized as OSHA but more of norm in our lives. Hmm something to ponder on… Anyway, as much safety is important for office and home, having a safe neighborhood is also important. Safe neighborhood cultivates the term family like and also mind peace to carry on with our daily routines.

Gosh! I don’t know why I’m being so formal here when all I wanted to say is that last Sunday an incident took place in my Taman. Two guys in a trailer drove into my housing area. At the first corner the trailer took, it hit an electricity pole. The pole broke into two but lucky the wires didn’t snap. After that, the guys drove straight and tried to make a turn into a narrow road but the side of the trailer hit the walls of the corner house. They two guys fled in panic.

I was driving home from KL when my friend Jessy called to tell me the commotion that was taking place as her house was between the two houses that were affected. When I arrived home (my neighborhood), my parents and I joined the crowd of the “tamanrians” and did our nosy work. Just as the crowd, I took some shots via my N95. So here it is:

Apparently the policemen found drugs and syringes in the trailer. We guessed the drivers must have been high on drugs and was trying to run away from regulators. What a nightmare I will say for the Taman. Looks like the saying “there’s no safer place as your home” is definitely not a true statement to be using these days for anything is possible anywhere.

Anyway that night, the Taman was without electricity till 1am. TNB managed to replace the pole. End of that day I had a good night because Jessy, Joyce and I managed to have dinner in Ali Maju. Well we couldn’t do much at home and decided a drive - which was more practical before we get kissed by the heat and mosquitoes at home! It’s been sometime since we girls met together. While having dinner we bumped into the policeman who was handling the Trailer case of my Taman. He was rather cute I must say… end of the day Jessy was more “gugu-gaga” over him because Raj was a cute man in the uniforms!

No matter what happens… life still goes on….
